The Fountek ribbon tweeters are equipped with a low induction impedance transformer allowing the ribbon to adapt perfectly to the amplifiers. Here is an excellent choice competing with the best dome tweeters. The series Neo-Fountek has a thick ribbon (0.02mm) and can be used with a 12dB / oct filter.

Ribbon tweeters should always be used with a passive crossover! The ribbon is a dead short to your amp.
Do not test without a capacitor.  Do not use an electronic crossover without a capacitor (Use 20+ mfd).
