Fountek midbass drivers offer exceptional value with premium features like aluminum cones and phase plugs, robust cast frames, and optimized low-distortion motors. They are the perfect choice for use in high-end loudspeaker systems, paired with premium-quality tweeters like Fountek’s own ribbon units.
The FW168 6-1/2” model is similar to the smaller 5-1/4” FW146 model in design and cosmetics, but provides deeper bass extension for use in larger monitor and floor-standing speakers. It features the same cast frame and satin-anodized aluminum cone as the other Fountek midwoofer drivers, for an aesthetically seamless match.
