The Fountek FW168K is a 182mm / 6½ inch midwoofer featuring a hardened aluminium cone, a strong diecast chassis and an integral protection grille. This drive unit has a highly dynamic sound with an excellent transient response and low distortion.

The FW168K 6-1/2” model is similar to the smaller 5-1/4” FW146 model in design and cosmetics, but provides deeper bass extension for use in larger monitor and floor-standing speakers. It features the same cast frame and satin-anodized aluminum cone as the other Fountek midwoofer drivers, for an aesthetically seamless match.
