The Wavecor PR223BD02 is an 8-3/4″ passive radiator designed for dedicated subwoofer applications. Due to its low mechanical losses, the PR223BD02 performs equally well on low volume and dynamic peaks.

 Product Description:

For demanding subwoofer applications using a passive radiator like the PR223BD02 is a fantastic alternative to ported enclosures. The extremely rigid black aluminum cone of the passive radiator provides a fantastic transient response. The PR223BD02 was designed to cause limited mechanical loss, for the best fidelity possible.

The PR223BD02 includes three weighted discs that are easily applied onto a threaded rod on the rear side of the cone. You can add any combination of the weighted discs to adjust the tuning of the passive radiator. Weights that included do not require a nut to secure them, as they are threaded to match the rod.
